Before the melee, Gary was able to learn that Tracy had recently purchased a bus ticket to Chicago. Matthew finds Tracy, the only person he knows isn't affected by his power, but becomes angry when he discovers she's been running from him all along and causes a riot. Bill, the only Alpha member who isn't affected by Matthew's power, catches Matthew.
